Jimothy's Big Waddle (“the game”) is operated by SANGAT LTD, a company registered in Mauritius. By playing the game or buying anything in it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

The game is free

The game is free to play in full. There is no paywall, no energy meter, and nothing that can only be reached by paying. Everything that affects gameplay can be earned by playing, and paid items do not make the game easier.

What you can buy

Two kinds of thing are sold, both one-time purchases, and neither is a subscription:

• Cosmetic packs — outfits and accessories. They change how the raccoon looks and nothing else.
• Snack packs — snacks are the in-game currency, also earned by playing. They are spent inside the game, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred to another person.

Who you are buying from

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as the merchant of record. This means Paddle — not SANGAT LTD— is the seller for the transaction: Paddle takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, issues your receipt, and processes refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms. SANGAT LTD supplies the game itself and the items you unlock.

For that reason your invoice and receipt are issued in the name of SANGAT LTD, and the charge reaches your bank as PADDLE.NET* SANGAT LTD— Paddle's card descriptor for sales it makes on our behalf. Neither line says “Jimothy” or names the pack you bought.

We never see or store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for what does and does not reach us.

Purchases are stored on your device — please read this one

The game has no accounts and no login. That is a deliberate privacy choice, and it has a consequence you should understand before you buy: what you own is recorded in your browser's local storage on the device you bought it on.

• Clearing your browsing data, or using “private” browsing, can erase it.
• A different browser, or a different device, will not automatically have it.
• Purchases are not lost permanently — see below — but they are not carried for you.

Two recovery routes exist, both on the account page: restore a cosmetic purchase using the order ID from your receipt email, or move everything to another device with a transfer code. Keep your receipt email. It is the proof of purchase, and without accounts it is the only one.

Snacks are consumable, so they are restored differently from cosmetics: re-adding them from an order ID would hand out the same purchase twice, so use a transfer code to bring a balance across instead.

Buying, and who may buy

You must be 18 or older to make a purchase, or have permission from whoever pays the bill. Do not use a payment method that is not yours.

Fair use

Please do not attempt to tamper with the game to obtain items without paying, disrupt the service for other players, or resell access to it. We may withdraw access to the game where it is being abused in these ways.

The game is provided as it is

We work to keep the game available and working, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, SANGAT LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and none of it affects your statutory consumer rights.

A fan game

This is an unofficial fan game, made out of affection. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jimothy, who is a real raccoon and cannot sign contracts. All game code and artwork are original and drawn in code; no photographs or third-party assets are used. If you hold rights you believe are affected, please write to us at support@jimothy.quest and we will respond promptly.

Changes

We may update these terms as the game changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes are not applied retroactively to purchases you have already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protections that are mandatory under the law of the country you live in.
